Sourav Ganguly, the Former Indian Captain has been named as the captain of KKR team for 2010 IPL. He has replaced the former captain Brendon McCullum of New Zealand. Australian Dav Whatmore will be the coach for the team. Whatmore will have Delhi Ranji coach Vijay Dahiya as his Deputy and Wasim Akram as mentor for the team.

Sachin scores 175
Sachin Tendulkar played one of his greatest ODI innings on Friday scoring mind-blowing 175 off just 141 balls against Australia. But his century went in vain as Australia defeated India by 3 runs. The "Little Master" as he is fondly called also crossed another milestone in cricketing history by adding a total of 17k ODI runs to his belt. Speaking on Sachin's splendid performance, former Indian captain Sourav Ganguly said "This is the best one day innings I've seen of his. 45 ODI hundreds, 17,000 runs- but this is the best knock I've seen of his, ever. And I mean it because I have seen some of his special ones and while I was going through the game I was trying to recollect which one could have been better than this. But to be honest, I could not find anything better".

Toyota quits F1
The World's largest car maker Toyota Motor Corp. has said that it is pulling out of Formula One due to poor Economic conditions. Toyota has become the third team to leave F1 after Honda motors and BMW. Toyota F1, which made its Formula One debut in 2002 has never won a Grand Prix. Barrichello signs with Willams for 2010 season
Rubens Barrichello, the 37 year-old veteran who finished third in 2009 F1 season has signed a deal to drive for Williams F1 team for the 2010 season. Barrichello is the most experienced driver in Formula One history. He has made 284 starts so far. Williams on Monday confirmed that Rubens Barrichello and GP2 champion Nico Hulkenberg as their line up for 2010. Nico Rosberg who drove for Williams from 2006 is leaving the team and he is expected to join Brawn GP.

Sebastian Vettel wins the first ever Day/Night race at the season-ending Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. This is Vettel's fifth race win in his career and fourth this season.Vettel's teammate Mark Webber finishes second and World Champion Jenson Button who started fifth on the grid, finished third. Orkut gets a New Look
Google's Social networking site Orkut has revamped its look and added a host of new features as it tries to regain its lost popularity. Google, which owns Orkut, said the new look has a user interface, or homepage, which is faster and easier to use. The new Orkut has features like posting video testimonials, changing the colors of the content boxes and the ability to discover friends automatically, video chat integrated with Google Talk, ability to upload photos in bulk, add and view photos and videos in-line. Initially, as part of the initiative, Orkut will make its new features available to selected users and communities. Later, the features will be made available to other Orkut subscribers via invitation.

Bruno Senna signs F1 deal with Campos
Bruno Senna, the 26 years old nephew of legendary three-time World Champion Ayrton Senna has sealed a deal to make his Formula 1 debut with the new Campos Meta team next season. Vodafone Essar has recently launched "Pay Per Second" tariff plan for its subscribers in Karnataka. With this offer its existing prepaid customers can make local and STD calls at 1paisa/second after recharging with Rs.70 which comes with 1 year validity. Customers will be charged at 2paise/second for the first 60 seconds daily and will be charged at just 1p/sec thereafter for all local and STD calls. SMS will be charged as per the normal tariff.
