Royal Challengers Bangalore have crushed otago Volts by 80 runs to move through the top-eight round of CLT20. South Africa's Jacques Kallis was the hero of the day as the home team scored 188 runs for the loss of just two wickets with Kallis contributing 73 from 59 balls.
New Zealand international Ross Taylor also provided plenty of spark at the end of Bangalore's innings with a cameo performance that saw him hammer 32 runs from just 11 deliveries.
The New Zealand domestic champions could only manage 108 in response. It was the second successive defeat for the New Zealanders and sends them home from the lucrative tournament.
