Nimbus bags BCCI TV rights till 2014
The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has inked a contract worth Rs.2000 crore with the NimbusCommunications Pvt Ltd for broadcasting rights of the cricket matches for the next four years.
Nimbus currently holds the right to broadcast all international and domestic cricket matches to be played in India which will end in March next year.
The new contract will be valid from April 2010 to 2014 and BCCI will get a fee of Rs 315 million for every match broadcasted by nimbus.
