The Country celebrates Diwali popularly known as the "festival of lights" today. During the day of Diwali / Deepavali, many wear new clothes, share sweets and snacks and fire crackers to celebrate the occasion.

Aircel Introduces One Paisa One Second Tariff Plan In Andhra Pradesh

Aircel has launched the “Pay Per Second” plan for its customers in Andhra Pradesh circle.Aircel recently launched “Pay Per Second” plan in Kolkata, Karnataka, Orissa and Uttar Pradesh East & West circles recently.

Aircel prepaid  customers can now enjoy both Local & STD calls at just one paise/second irrespective of service providers. In order to activate, customers need to SMS   to 5800000.  Thereafter, all existing tariffs / rate-cutter benefits get cancelled and the charges would be on a per-second basis.

With Aircel “Pay per Pulse Plan” there is a limit on the STD usage – upto 1,000 seconds per day will be charged at 1 paise, after which STD calls will be charged at 2 paise per second.

Idea Mumbai offers local calls at 40 paise and STD calls at 50 paise

Idea Cellular Ltd. announced a new plan which allows the subscribers to call all local numbers at 40 paise/minute and STD numbers at 50 paise / minute, irrespective of the service providers.  All SMSes under this offer will be charged at 50 paise/SMS.

New subscribers can avail this offer after their first recharge and existing customers will be part of this offer after recharging the tariff voucher priced at Rs. 47. The first minute of Local call and STD call will be charged as per their regular tariff and the offer charges are applicable only from the second minute of a day.

TATA DOCOMO to develop Windows Applications

Tata Docomo, the GSM brand of Tata Teleservices Limited, and Microsoft India have entered into a long term, strategic partnership to provide next generation telecom products and services to Indian consumers. 

In the immediate term, the partnership will involve the promotion of new Windows Phones-Acer Be Touch E101 and Acer Neo Touch s200, powered by Windows Mobile 6.5 in circles where TATA DOCOMO is already operational.

Idea Launches Super 50 in Andhra Pradesh

Idea Cellular has introduced “Super 50” tariff plans which offers Local, STD calls and SMS across India at just 50 paise per minute for its new and existing customers in Andhra Pradesh.

With “Super 50 L” offer, new Idea subscribers can make local calls for just 50 paisa per minute and STD calls at Re.1 per minute. Existing Idea customers can recharge with Rs.34 to avail this benefit. It comes with 1 year validity.

Using the “Super 50 SL” offer, new Idea subscribers can make STD calls for just 50 paisa per minute, for a period of 6 months, by a recharge of Rs.77. Existing Idea customers can recharge with Rs.69 to avail this benefit.

With Idea’s “Super 50 SLS” offer, new customers can make all STD & local calls and SMSes at just 50 paisa per minute, for a period of one year through the first time recharge of Rs.105. Existing customers can recharge with Rs.104 to avail this benefit.

TATA DOCOMO to be present in 18 circles by December

TATA DOCOMO, the GSM service of Tata Teleservices which is currently operational in 10 circles will cover 18 circles by December.
The company has also applied for licenses in Jammu and Kashmir, Assam and North East in order to become a Pan India operator.Tata Docomo has also opened its first ‘Dive In’ store in Bangalore.

Idea Gujarat to offer Local & STD calls at 50 Paise Per Minute

Idea Cellular has launched three special prepaid tariff vouchers for its subscribers in Gujarat circle. One of the recharge voucher priced at Rs. 99 provides calls to any part of India for just 50 paisa per minute for a full year. Idea has introduced another new voucher priced at Rs. 35, offering STD calls at just 50 paisa per minute for a period of 6 months and another recharge voucher priced at just Rs. 12 offering STD call rate at 50 paisa per minute with a validity of one month. These reduced special call rates will be applicable daily from the 2nd minute of the day.
