Sathyam cinemas to launch 8 screen multiplex in chennai

Sathyam Cinemas,Chennai's hottest destination will open its second multiplex at Express Avenue, a shopping mall that is coming up on Mount Road in early 2010.The multiplex will provide an international movie experience with plush seating arrangements, digitally enabled screens and RDX technology for high definition digital movie projection. The multiplex will house eight screens, six small screens each with 150-odd seats and two small screens with 300 seats each.... Sathyam cinemas rockzzz.......

Reliance ADA Group to launch 33 News channels

Here is a great news for people who spend lot of time in watching television.Reliance Big Broadcasting (RBB), the television arm of the Reliance ADA Group will soon become the country’s largest owner of television channels, under the brand name ‘Big’. It already operates 46 FM radio stations and a DTH service under the ‘Big’ name. The company has applied to the I&B Ministry seeking licence to operate 33 news channels, the highest for any single broadcaster so far. It has already got the downlink licence for 18 non-news channels under the brand name ‘Big’. Once approved, RBB would own over 50 television channels. RBB has applied for news channels like Big News Business English, Big News Business Hindi, Big News Crime, Big News Urdu, Big News Sports and regional channels Big News Gujarati, Big News Marathi and Big News Punjabi.

Aircel launches 1Paisa/sec Tariff plan

After TATA DOCOMO and MTS, Aircel has launched pay per second concept in Kolkata telecom circle.Aircel has become the first existing GSM operator to launch 1Paisa/sec concept. With this tariff model, all local and STD calls will be charged @ 1p/sec. Local SMS will be charged @ 60p and national SMS will be charged @ Rs. 1.20

TATA Tele introduces pay per call concept

Hurrah....Here comes another happy news. Tata Teleservices,the 6th largest mobile operator in the country has introduced PAY PER CALL concept in which you will be charged Re.1 for local calls and Re.3 for STD calls no matter how long you talk.Currently the offer is available for its CDMA-based Tata Indicom prepaid subscribers.

TATA DOCOMO added 5lakh subscribers in TN

TATA DOCOMO,the GSM-based mobile services of TTSL is definitely Doing The New.. Yes.. TATA DOCOMO has added 5lakh subscribers in Tamil Nadu circle within a month of its launch.It is to be noted that TATA DOCOMO is the first operator in the country to charge only for what you speak i.e they are charging at a rate of 1p/s for all local calls.

India Telecos added 9.5mn GSM subscribers in July

According to Cellular Operators Association of India(COAI), GSM mobile operators in India added 9.5mn new subscribers in july thereby taking the total subscriber base to 325.7mn.

Country's largest operator Bharthi Airtel leads the addition with 2.81mn whereas Vodafone Essar,BSNL,Idea cellular and Aircel added 2.23mn,1.61mn,1.43mn and 1.30mn subscribers respectively.

GSM operators add 9mn users in June

Indian GSM mobile operators has added 8.89 million users in June, taking the total user base to 315.8 million. Top mobile operator Bharti Airtel has added 2.82 million subscribers. Vodafone Essar added 2.37 million subscribers in the month of June. Idea Cellular's addition were at 1.61 million.
