The Car comes with a  6.5-liter, 12-cylinder engine generating 670 horsepower.Zero to 62 miles per hour in 3.4 seconds. Top speed is 205 mph.“The Reventón is the most extreme car in the history of the brand,” said Stephan Winkelmann, CEO of Automobili Lamborghini. “The new roadster adds an extra emotional component to our combined technological expertise.”

Champions Trophy: Race for No 1 Kicks Off


The Champions Trophy kicked-off today starting with South Africa vs Sri Lanka. The tournament though won't just be a race for a trophy but also a race for the number one spot in the ODI rankings.

In the past ten days, three teams have been the top ranked ODI side in the world.
The Proteas are currently on top of both the Test and one-day rankings.

With Australia, India and South Africa breathing on each other's necks, everyone eye is on that Number 1 spot. And getting their now will be relatively easier, but staying put there will be a huge challenge for any of these three teams.

Nokia N900 to be launched soon







The Nokia N900 has a 3.5 inch resistive touchscreen mobile with a resolution of 800 × 480 pixel.The 5 megapixel back camera has an autofocus feature, dual LED flash, 4:3 and 16:9 aspect ratio options, and 3X digital zoom.The 0.3 megapixel front camera is capable of video recording at up to 640 x 480 pixels.

The Sony Ericsson Xperia X2, the touchscreen phone launched recently could be the last Windows Mobile from Sony Ericsson. According to reports,Sony Ericsson is getting ready to cut ties with Microsoft. Reports suggest that the mobile maker plans to work on Android and S60 blowers in the future.

GSM Operators added 9.31mn users in August


GSM service provider Idea Cellular has added 1.54 million new subscribers in August, taking its total subscriber base to 50.05 million. The addition has helped the Aditya Birla group company consolidate its position as the fifth-largest operator in the country and inch up closer to state-owned BSNL, data released by the Cellular Operators’ Association of India (COAI) said.
According to Cellular Operators Association Of India,  GSM operators in the country has added a total of 9.31 million users in August taking the total number of GSM subscribers to 335.45 million by August end.The details are as follows.

Mobile numbers starting with '8' series in India




As the Mobile Numbers starting with '9' are exhausting, DoT has allotted  a new series beginning with the digit '8' to Reliance Communications(RCom) for its Maharashtra and Goa circle. The series begins with 8055.
It is to be noted that this is the first time in India, a Telecom Service provider has been alloted with number series starting with 'digit 8'

TATA DOCOMO offers Blackberry services



After Telecom giants Airtel and Vodafone, its now TATA's turn. Oh yes...TATA DOCOMO, the GSM brand of Tata Teleservices, and Research In Motion (RIM) launches BlackBerry services in India. TATA DOCOMO is offering the BlackBerry Bold and BlackBerry Curve 8900 smartphones to its customers in India.
TATA DOCOMO offers two different plans for BlackBerry data service-'Do 299' and 'Do 899'. The 'Do 299' plan provides unlimited data usage for e-mail and instant messaging and 'Do 899' plan includes unlimited data usage for Internet, e-mail and instant messaging.
